Thriller Evaluation Question 6

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Throughout the process of making the film sequence I have learnt a lot about the technology which I had used. When I was filming the sequence I learnt a lot about the best way of filming the sequence, I learnt more about the panning while filming so I couldn’t go past the 180 degree line. This worked well when filming as I didn’t go past that line and it looked like it did well.
The type of camera which I used to take the shots for the thriller sequence was 'Panasonic camera'. I sometimes had some problems when filming due to the fact that sometimes when I was using the zoom in and out on the camera it sometimes looked a bit shaky and didn’t really look very professional for the type of sequence I was shooting. Also sometimes when I was shooting the sequence there was noise in the background but during the editing part of the process I was able to learn how to take the noise out of the sequence so It didn’t get in the way and didn’t sound unprofessional.
The program which I had used to put all of the shots together to make the whole sequence was ' Adobe premiere pro'. When we were doing the editing part of the process I was able to learn how to make a title and how to use a transition so it made it look more professional but also suited the type of genre of the film. I was also able to use the transitions when making the credits transitions which won’t get In the way of the rest of the film so that the audience are still paying attention to the film instead of the credits.
I was also able to learn how to put a piece of music over the top of the rest of the film but also making it so that it won’t be getting in the way with the rest of the sounds which you are able to hear in the sequence. I feel like I have learnt a lot about what is the best way of creating the film sequence and learnt a lot about the technology I was using throughout the sequence.
I also had to make sure that with some of the scenes which I had filmed; I filmed it several times so if one didn't go very well I was able to use the other shot which I had shot so that I know it will look the best it is able to be. By doing this throughout the process it means that it will be able to look more professional. But also if half of one of the shots looked good and the other half of another shot looked good then you will be able to take both half's and edit them so you can put them together; this will then make the sequence look more professional and more like an open sequence.
PRINTSCREEN
These print screens shows how I have made a title sequence, i started of by clicking on file->new->title. The second print screen shows the option which had came up after which shows the size of the title. The third print screen shows the option which you could choose to make the title credits. After I had then made the title credits I would then drag it across so it landed on the timeline. After completing all of this it would then mean that when you press play it will be the first part of the sequence.
